I'm eating late...what do I do!!!?

I have basketball practice from 7-10 every night. I eat before but I can't eat more then 2 hrs before with out being bloated or too full...and then I get home at 10-10:30 and I'm starving. What should I do? I don't think I can not eat but what could I eat that wont be too filling and will let me sleep comfortably at night? I am sure it is effecting my sleeping patterns eating so late...its a visious cycle. Any help?

I threw a party at my house as an "end season" thing where i started to notice that she might have liked me. I was too pussy to do anything that night so now the sport ended and she still doesn't know that I like her. I have one class with her still but beside that I don't see her much anymore. Although it will be tough not knowing the whole story, but here goes. We have been together for 15 yrs, %26amp; married for 13 with 3 kids, 10, 7, 5. She was a stay at home mom, after our 1st so that I could peruse my dreams. She put everything on the back burner, so I could succeed. Then, I had a cheated a few yrs back for 2yrs in a nonsex relationship. She insists on the fact that, by getting divorced if we are to have a future, we will start with a clean slate and she can move past all the hurt. she needs to get away and sort things out without having u there to remind her what u had done. ask if she will be willing to seperate for a little while. go on vacation for a week. sounds like she tried but it just kept creeping into her mind of what u did. there is still hope for the 2 of u.
Well, I would hope that she isn't going to put her children through a divorce unless she is certain that she is going to stay seperate from you. Although the decision to stay together shouldn't be based on the children, they do play a part, and how much will they get screwed up if they see mom and dad going back and forth like that?

Has your wife considered therapy in order to help her find herself? I love how automatically "finding yourself" has to include ditching your spouse---it's BS! You do not have to be seperate from someone you love in order to find yourself, and I think she simply wants out because she cannot stand the fact that she stayed with you after what you did to her. After an affair, there is really little hope that things will be fantastical for the rest of your lives. I imagine the two of you never sought therapy after that and just went on like nothing ever happend? That's like burying a watermelon under your mattress! ok, i was supposed to start my menstral cycle on the 13th. i havent started yet (im not sexualy active so im not worried about that) but just earlier i had a discharge that was brown. i know you get the after your cycle, but i've never gotten it before. is there sumthing wrong? am i like blocked up or sumthing? and when i do start late (which is typical) i'll usually have pre cramps. but i've had NOTHING like that. im getting kinda worried. is this all normal with the brown discharge?

It's common when you are expecting your period to have brown blood after *or* before.

I always thought it was an after thing, but once I had it before my period started. And I've also read answers on here of other girls having it before their period arrives.

The discharge is fine. You might be just having an off month. You can miss a period due to stress or illness so don't worry about it just yet.
Brown blood is simply old blood, and it can show up during any cycle. It's more common to see, along with largish clots, when a period is delayed or skipped for some reason. Delayed cycles can also be accompanied by cramps, sometimes serious ones. It doesn't mean anything is wrong at all. It just means your normal hormonal cycle is somewhat upset for some reason. As long as you are not sexually active, and pregnancy is not a possibility, you are just looking at old blood and a disrupted cycle. If you are young and haven't had your period for at least one or two years, it's not settled into a regular pattern yet and things like this are not all that uncommon.

Have you changed your diet or excerise program, excessive excersise can affect your cycle as can stress and nutrition, does the discharge have an odor? if so you may want to see your Dr as a ruptured cyst could also cause this type of discharge but you would have cramps along with that

I would slow down for a few days and try to eat properly and if you still don't start in a week or so go see your Dr.
Most of my periods start like that now. I've had periods for about 13 years now, and for the first ten at least, I just had regular bleeding, but now this is normal for me. (Although I take birth control pills to regulate my hormones because of a medical condition, so that might have something to do with it in my case.) I wouldn't be concerned about it if there's no chance you're pregnant.
Have you started any new birth control? You may not be active, but some women/ young ladies do get on birth control for help with cramps during their cycle. The hormones in birth control would take a little while to even out (months). Talk to your doctor if you're really concerned.
Hey, you're probably fine. I've had my period for 4 years, never been late or anything. This past month I was 14 days late...and i'm not sexually active. I believe it was from some stress that I had (all my friends left for college and I stayed local). But nothing like that had ever happened to me. So stay calm, and tell your mom or something if your really starting to get worried. Moms can be the best help sometimes...

Very few women have a really regular cycle. If you are concerned about ovulation you can have a blood test to see if it is happening. I had irregular cycles most of my life. After I had my second son my periods started to be more regular. It was like I suddenly hit puberty at 32. Most doctors tell their patients to try to get pregnant for a year before starting any testing,

Do you feel any symptoms of ovulation? Like a cramp in your lower abdomen on one side or the other. Also watch the type of discharge that you have. Often at ovulation you will have clear to white stringy discharge.

I've never had a regular cycle but then again I hear that very few women have the 28 day cycle like in the textbooks. I can always tell if I'm ovulating because I get a sharp pain in my lower abdomen (where the ovaries are). Theres a german name for it I can't spell. Plus if your ovulating than your cervical mucus should be a different consistency (like egg whites, I believe). All you can do is actively try for a year and if you don't know when you ovulate than try every other day. That's what I plan to do.

the deadline for fafsa is the preferred date to get your application in. this is to be sure you get the most money in grants you can. they do save some of the federal grant money for students who begin classes in the spring, but the pot is a lot more empty than full. you should apply for fafsa and may very well get a grant to assist with your schooling if you qualify. you need to apply also if you were interested in taking out loans to help pay for school. by completing the fafsa application you will then be eligible for federal stafford loans. these are the best loans you can get to pay for school as they usually have the lowest interest rate and if you were to get unsubsidized stafford the government pays the interest while youre in school, saving you some money. go to http://fafsa.ed.gov/ to complete your application for federal aid.

as for other steps to complete, if you havent already apply to your school now, within the next week. that way you have enough time to get everything ready to attend in the spring. then talk with the school you are going to attend to see what else they need you to do. you will likely have to complete some additional paperwork at your college to finish the financial aid process.

I hunt up to the very end of season. And I have gotten a great size buck on the last evening. I don't hunt the "rut" as they say. I believe in the weather and other issues. On my ranch the bucks are still running with the doe's. As the season comes to the end the doe's begin to group up without the bucks. I just rattle a little longer to see if a buck is around. Don't give up.... Keep going out and try to see if the bucks are still traveling through the area that your hunting.

When I can't hunt the rut, I always choose as late in the season as I can. Problem is, I'm pretty sure you're talking about whitetails back east, and I hunt Mule Deer and Elk in Idaho...so this won't help you.
Most hunters can't hack the cold in late season. Bundle up and enjoy. They're still out there looking for a food source. Baiting is allowed in Ohio. It works well in late season

Well,now they want to give me Provera..Should I take it or wait a little longer?

My husband is worried that I might be only a week or so along and just had a messed up cycle which made me ovulate later --making me not far enough along to have a positive test..I don't know???

Ask your doctor if he would be willing to have you go for an ultrasound before he prescribes the Provera. I would think an ultrasound would show at least a gestational sac or something that would indicate you are in the early stages of pregnancy.

Talk with your doctor about an ultra sound. Blood test are typically 99% accurate. Don't give up hope :)
I would talk with your doctor but also keep in mind that blood tests show positive results as of 2 days past implantation. I would request the ultrasound if it will make you feel better about it. And as a side note...don't have sex every day because it drains hubby's sperm count, have sex every other day that way you can optimize his count!
From personal experience,you should wait.before i took provera i was ovulating regularly,then after one cycle, i stopped ovulating.the reason i was given provera was because of heavy periods,but it also stopped ovulation, and i am ttc.DON'T TAKE IT! If you do,take it only one time.PLEASE!!!

I posted payment or an item at least 3 days before it was due, the finance company now say they didnt get the payment untill 8 days after it was due and now want over 锟?00 in late payment costs from me. Check the small print, they may have something written that say please allow 4 days for postage and 4 for cheques to clear. In which case your stuffed.

If it says less days than this, then you may have case to fight against them. There was something out a few months ago, where some finance ombudsman said the banks etc. could no longer charge huge amount for missed payment, overdrawn etc.. That might apply to their excessive charges too.

Well, three days before the due date doesn't seem early enough, to be honest. Using regular mail, there's no telling how long it will get there.

On the day you sent the payment, did you call the company to let them know that you mailed it? That's why I do if I think the payment might not get there in time -- in such cases, they'll probably cut you a break on the late charges if they know ahead of time that payment is coming.

My dream is to go to harvard. I'm currently in 9th grade and homschooled. This year i played soccer through another school, but did nothing else.

I have a 3.2 GPA and to be honest haven't done math in about 3 years. So I have no idea how to do Algebra.

I love to write and take pictures. I don't know if i'm good enough to make it into Harvard University though. No one in my family has ever done anything exactly amazing...

Also I would never be able to afford it. I would need to get a scholarship.

You absolutely must do math so that you can get into a college. Most colleges actually require that you did a certain amount of math in high school. In fact, isn't math a requirement in most states to graduate high school, even for homeschooled students? And you'll need math in order to do well on the SATs. So that's a major issue for you. Must be remedied.

With a 3.2 GPA, and without having the math that Harvard requires, and thus also probably not getting great SAT scores on the quantitative sections, Harvard is not within your reach. That does not necessarily mean that you won't get into a four year college. It does, however, severely limit your choices.

If, however, you were to start doing all the college prep classes now, including math, raise your GPA, do well on the SAT, and continue with the soccer and/or add some other extra curricular*, then maybe. And if not Harvard, then at least you could target other quality universities. But you need to make some changes, starting now.

So it's really not too late, but you must get yourself on a college prep path of coursework.

*As for extra curriculars - these do not have to be things that are connected to a school (although the soccer is great). They can be things you do independently. Maybe something for your church, or a part-time job, or volunteering in your community - lots of options. And you don't have to do a million things. Do a few of quality, and really focus on them. Do them with some depth, and that will set you up well for college admissions re: extra curriculars.

You've already been given some very good advice about what you need to do to prepare for college in general, but personally, I'm curious why Harvard is your dream. It isn't the first school I would recommend to someone who loved to write and take pictures, or who's used to a lot of one-on-one academic attention. So unless you know something I don't about the place, what is it that you like so much? The size? The location? The look of the campus? Or is it just the prestige? In between your studying and activities, really ask yourself what you want in a school, and look for some places that match that.

most defiantely!! if your usually on time and no protection was used then chances are very good. try a test now and see what it shows. if negative wait a couple of days and do it again!! the cramping pains with no period is very normal in the early part of pregnacy.

I am on my 3rd month of clomid and my periods are about 3 days longer than usual. It's really annoying because i get my hopes up every month, but my hpt's are negative. Try not to get discouraged. I know I do. I just keep counting days and hoping this is going to be the month it happens. All I can suggest is try to wait longer to take your hpt. Good Luck and happy baby making!

Mine regulated at about 35 days. I've heard that it's common to have longer periods when taking clomiphene, so give it another week and then see.

Well a couple of weeks ago I hit this tired stage, I sleep almost all day, and I was suppossed to have my period on the 12th and today is the 18th and I have felt nauseated, and my appetite has changed, I dont really have one, which is unusual.

I have a son from a previous realationship and when i was ten days late with him I tested and got a positive response but with my husband it is different, we werent sure if he could have children and we have been trying and it has been difficult.

I dont know exactly when I should take the pregnancy test, I am afraid of being disappointed, but when is the best time to take it?? Should I wait another week, or should I go to the drug store today and find out??

I would say that you should go ahead and take a test. Those are signs of pregnancy. Im not saying that you are but yes you could be. Given your past I would say the chances are great.

In most cases if the information is correct, you don't get them removed. But since you are out of the country, you might try contacting the companies and explain what happened, they might remove them.
Thank you for your service. If you were late, there isn't anything you can do. You can try writing to the credit card companies and asking them to remove the bad report and set you up with some kind of extanded grace period while you serve your tour of duty.
you will not get them deleted, but you can write to all three credit reporting agencies and explain the circumstances. your rebuttal and explanation goes a long way in having your credit accepted of denied.
fill out a dispute form to the credit bureau... most of the time they will remove them. its a little paper work... but worth it. a lot of times the company just doesnt want to deal with the protest so they will let the bureau remove it (because the bureau will forward the dispute to the company, and unless it is a big deal, they wont want to mess with it) if they reject the dispute try again. send it through at least five times (although I think with a 30 day late, youll only have to do it once) if they havent after five, they probably wont, but likely it will be removed.

this is the method that professional credit repair uses... you will pay them 2-5 hundred to get them to do this for you, and you can do it yourself. I have had to do this several times and it really does work.
The credit card company who receives a late payment has the right to report it to credit bureaus. Once it is on the credit report it can be there for 7 years. It is your responsibility as the credit card holder to make sure the credit giver (the credit card company) has an accurate address for you. Try and get the bills sent to you electronically that way you can be on time with your payments.

well sometimes your period just isn't on schedule so i would wait it out and if it doesn't come then get a pregnancy test. but periods can be a little off sometimes..even by 2 weeks. i once had 2 in one month. =P

no way! you are never too old to start! well unless youre like 60 or something :]

i started at 4 and im 14 now. but my best friend at the rink has only been skating a year! and she's almost as good as i am. i would suggest that if you have to wait, start training now. try out some ballet to build up some strength. look at online videos to mentally learn as much as you can. it helps tremendously! if you dont want to take ballet or anything like that. take some yoga or pilates. basically, keep in great shape, jump roap, try to get comfortable with falling (when you fall NEVER put down an elbow or something to break your fall. fall on your butt!), and like i said, youtube is a great "textbook" if you watch fs on tv, thats great, if you dont, START! its cool and you can get an idea of basic elements you will learn. (you will not be jumping in your first week! so dont think youre going to be great at first, i cant stress more to master basic skating skills! like crossovers, one foot glides, 3-turns, and edge work) build up those legs!

oh, and if you are really dieing to learn fast, i would reccoment lessons about 3 times a week. oh, and if you dont already have skates, get custom boots. they make all the difference! and tie them TIGHT!

and last but not least, good luck! skating is the most amazing thing in the world. and its not all about doing the jumps and spins, its about the feeling you get when your blades melt that ice! seriously, gliding is the closest thing to flying! its way cool you want to learn :]

If you paid after like 1PM or so, it wont clear until Monday most likely, but they go by the day they RECEIVE the payment, which is when you were on the phone authorizing an ACH draft.

No you are not going to be charge a late fee as long as the check was posted on 08/17/2007 at the credit card company. It doesn't really matter how long is going to take to clear your bank. I could take a week... usually a check clear within 2 business day's. but don't worry your credit card company is not going to charge you at all.

When I was on my job hunt, I had an interview with a newspaper organization and on my way, there was a car accident in front of me. I could not have planned for the delay. I left way early but still was going to be about 5 minutes late. I was so mortified that I called from my cell and cancelled the interview (I told them there was an accident on the road, and declined to reschedule although they were nice enough to offer). I realize I am overboard on the punctuality thing, but I just can't think of a worse thing to do in an interview than to show up late to it. It's rule number one! I ended up having an interview the next day at my first choice and got that job, so all worked out and it will for you, too! Just be on time to your next one. Leave 15 mins earlier than you need to get there.

Definetely Stress. I remember skipping a whole month due to the fact that I had so many doctors appointments to worry about in the same month. Panic attacks will make it late also. Try a cup of chamomile tea, or soaking in a bath of salt water. It will help bring it on.

My last period start on January 20. The one before that was December 23 and the one before that was november 26. I have a very regular period, never late. We had unprotected sex January 29th and Febuary 4th or 5th, and Febuary 9th, those times he pulled out. then we had unprotected sex about 8 times without pulling out between the 11th and 16th.

It is now the 20th and I should of gotten my period on the 17th. Very likely. If you're running late, you should call ahead and let them know. Doing otherwise is disrespectful to your potential employer. They have jobs and have scheduled time to meet with you, by showing up late, you have disrupted their schedule. In the future, you should plan on arriving no less than 15 minutes early for your interview.

Unless you are the only choice, you have lost it. For whatever the reason, being on time is important. If there was a car accident or something, you should have called to inform them. Otherwise, they see you as someone who can't manage time, and that reflects on your abilities to manage everything. A half hour late, I canceled interviews and sent people on their way for less. It's not just y9our time, it's their time too. Remember, they have schedules and need to take care of business.

there are a few things that could be the cause:

have you had any changes in your diet recently?

have you been under higher levels of stress?

have you lost any weight recently?

were you put on any new medications since your last period?

have you been sick withen the last month?

all of these things can contribute to your cycle and cause it to fluctuate.

another possibility is pregnancy. even if you haven't had sex, it still could happen. you don't exactly need sex for pregnancy, just sperm entering vagina. you are pretty young, so i won't make assumptions, but if you were messing around with your boyfriend and his penis got anywhere near your vagina, you could be pregnant.

My period was due on March 20th so as of today, I'm six days late. I noticed that oddly I have had menstrual like cramps all month on and off. I usually just get them the day or two before my period. No matter if it's early or late - it only looks good if your work is done, and done well.

If you find you work better at the 'office' when its quiet before everyone arrives then by all means go early. Or at the end of the day is when you produce your best results, stay that extra half hour.

I do personally think if people needlessly stay late it shows unorganization, but there are lots of reasons, so who am I to judge.

I have always thought if you are going to stay extra time.. it best in the morning. Its usually quiet and you can get a few things done. It also looks as if you are ready and prepared for the day. Not rushing in at the last minute and then going after coffee, catching up with co-workers, etc. and not starting for another 30 minutes. If you stay late, it looks like you are rushing to get stuff done. I would really care if they hassle me, I would remind them that you get there early and you get your work done, b/c you don't care to stay late. Don't let them make you feel bad b/c they don't do their job properly or productively!

I have always gone in early and not been afraid to stay late, if the situation of the day warrants it.

For instance, I like to get an easy start to the day, so I always go in about 30 mins early.

I typically plan to leave at 5, but if I am in the middle of something as 5 rolls around, I do NOT rush to complete it just so I can leave or rush through a customer just so I can leave.

Time is not important. What is important is that you are on top of your job. For example if you have an early morning meeting at 8.00am you come in early to read your emails and are updated withe the latest information. On the other hand if you need to meet a deadline before you leave for the day, you stay back to complete it rather than going by the clock. Everyone thinks that their boss does not notice good things, but they are wrong.. Most bosses are bosses because they can screen out the good people.

My last period was March 8th-14th. I also stopped taking BC pills then, had sex on March 12, 14, 19, 21, 27, then on April 2. I should have started on April 4th. It is now April 8th and no period. I have taken two pregnancy tests and they are both negative. I have never been late, or missed a period. Could I have gotten conceived later in the month, and still miss my period so close too it?

bc takes a while to get out of your system. although you can get preg straight away its more likely that your cycles are a bit muddled. good luck but all you can do is wait until your positive test.
when you go off of bc, it takes your body a while to readjust sometimes. It can take a month to 3-4 months for everything to clear your system and for your body to go back to normal. So your periods for a while might not be as regular as they were before you started bc. Before going on bc, I used to always be every 28 days almost to the hour, then when I stopped bc, my periods were all over the place for a while.

So while you could have conceived later in the month because your cycles are probably different now, chances are it's just your period being a little later than normal. Wait a week and test again if you still haven't started. If it's still neg, go to the doctor and let them figure it out. :)

No way, she just needs to decide what she wants to do. Her age can actually help her get into the college. I'm a college student now, and you see quite a few older students on campus, and I've even seen senior citizens taking classes toward a degree.
Why would it be too late? If she's going on that "I can't go back to school because I'll be 39 when I graduate" line, then remind that in four years she's going to be 39 anyway. But she could be 39 and have a degree, or not - her choice.

No. Why don't you have her refinance it in her name only? She's going to trash your credit rating if she continues to do this. I wouldn't call her other than to tell her to find a way to refinance that car and that you were going to get out from under that loan. Why should you be partially responsible for property you really no longer own or have control of?

Is the car titled in both names or just hers? If it is titled in both names, have her retitle it in her name only. Then go to the credit union and ask them how to go about getting out from under that joint loan and having her refinance it.

To answer your question, I think that you do have a right to be mad, but remember, you were the one who co-signed and you let her have the car. Take the car, make her refinance the car in her own name to get it back. (If you can make the payments yourself.)

You have a bigger problem, if the car gets repossesed, they will garnish your bank account and paycheck for the difference between the amount of the loan and the amount that they sell it for plus attorney's fees, reposession fees, late fees, court costs, interest, and administrative fees. (You can bet all the fees that are added will be more than they sell the car for.)
It sounds like it was an Ex-Girlfriend as opposed to an Ex-Wife so there is probably no written agrement that she is to pay on the car. If you don't you need to be very careful and make sure she does not all of the sudden come back at you and say it was a gift and she is not going to pay on it anymore.

Actually if she paid before the 30 day late(although barly) and the CU said they would not loan you money again because of that, that is a pretty harsh CU. Even big banks can be somewhat forgiving except for late fees in payment that are still within 30 days. Also, since it was before the 30 days nothing should show up on your Credit Report.

If she can not/will not get it refinanced in her name. Then what you should do is tell her that she is to pay you directly and you pay the Loan directly. If she does not pay you, you still need to pay the loan to not effect your credit. However, you can then turn around and take her to Small Claims Court for any missed payments.
It seems that you have a kind heart for leaving her the car and her making the payments. But, unknowingly to you, this can have a terrible impact on your credit rating when she does not pay.

You MUST go to the bank, or wherever you got the loan from, and take your name off of the loan and have her qualify for it. If she does not qualify, you have the option of taking over the car, or paying the loan first and then collecting the money from her. Remember, your credit rating is one of the most important things in life. Don't let a past relationship screw up the future for you.
