Include in your letters that you are on active duty in Iraq and claim protection under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA).

In most cases if the information is correct, you don't get them removed. But since you are out of the country, you might try contacting the companies and explain what happened, they might remove them.
Thank you for your service. If you were late, there isn't anything you can do. You can try writing to the credit card companies and asking them to remove the bad report and set you up with some kind of extanded grace period while you serve your tour of duty.
you will not get them deleted, but you can write to all three credit reporting agencies and explain the circumstances. your rebuttal and explanation goes a long way in having your credit accepted of denied.
fill out a dispute form to the credit bureau... most of the time they will remove them. its a little paper work... but worth it. a lot of times the company just doesnt want to deal with the protest so they will let the bureau remove it (because the bureau will forward the dispute to the company, and unless it is a big deal, they wont want to mess with it) if they reject the dispute try again. send it through at least five times (although I think with a 30 day late, youll only have to do it once) if they havent after five, they probably wont, but likely it will be removed.

this is the method that professional credit repair uses... you will pay them 2-5 hundred to get them to do this for you, and you can do it yourself. I have had to do this several times and it really does work.
The credit card company who receives a late payment has the right to report it to credit bureaus. Once it is on the credit report it can be there for 7 years. It is your responsibility as the credit card holder to make sure the credit giver (the credit card company) has an accurate address for you. Try and get the bills sent to you electronically that way you can be on time with your payments.

Since the comments are on the report you can try disputing them but you will probably be unsuccessful as you were late.
You can actually call the creditor and ask them to have it removed. Expalin your situation and point out how long you have had the account with them and to look at you past history with them and this was circumstantial not out of irresponsiblity. Most 99% of creditors will take it off your credit if you push the issue...politely.
eventhough u paid them late it still shows up on your credit report, there is no way for them to get deleted..
Most cases, if it shows as 30 days, you're pretty much stuck with it. But since you're deployed out of the country and you didn't get the bill, you may be able to get them removed because you never received the statements. I'd definitely check with them.
